This 28 October online event aims to give insight into how the world’s Great River Cities are responding to the global pandemic. How are the emerging issues shaping river use today and what are the implication for the future?

Global advisor, scholar and writer, Professor Greg Clark CBE, is our keynote speaker. He will share findings of research currently underway with river cities around the world, mapping the trends in response. Port of London Authority and other panellists will share perspectives on how these trends are playing out for London and other river cities, before opening out to questions and wider discussion.

The findings of the research into great river cities’ experience will be published concurrently with the webinar.

The event will be chaired by PLA non-executive director and chair of the board’s Thames Vision committee Paula Carter. Speakers include Robin Mortimer, chief executive of the PLA, and John Aitken, managing director of Inspiring Cities.

We will be sharing more details as the programme takes shape. Please book your free space using the button below.

When: 28 October 2020, 10-11:30AM GMT.
