London Container Terminal in Tilbury announces today (20th October) an extension to their agreement with short-sea shipping and logistics specialists Oldenburg-Portugiesische Dampfschiffs-Rhederei (OPDR), which sees OPDR’s new liner service from Agadir, Morocco calling at the Port of Tilbury for five transit days.Read more
The Secretary of State for Transport has confirmed the Port of London Authority’s (PLA) application to buy Orchard Wharf in Tower Hamlets, east London, in a move that will support London’s economic growth and increased use of the Thames.Read more
New route starts in August at London Container Terminal. Port of Tilbury, owned by Forth Ports Limited, and Port of Zeebrugge / MBZ have announced that SCS Multiport will add a brand new route to their current service –Amsterdam-Tilbury - to deliver Far East deep sea transhipment and continental loads between the container ports of Tilbury, Amsterdam and Zeebrugge.Read more
