Peruvian Wharf planning decision backs use of Thames for cargo

The Port of London Authority (PLA) has welcomed the Government decision to dismiss plans by a property developer to convert a safeguarded wharf on the Thames in East London into a largely residential development. Notes to Editors: The Port of London Authority (PLA) is the port authority for 150km (95 miles) of the tidal Thames from the sea to Teddington. It provides navigational, safety, pilotage and other services for all users of the tidal Thames. |
