The PLA has launched a second film to help rowers use the tidal Thames safely, this time focusing on rowing in the upper district of the river.

A public meeting to discuss current and future issues about the Thames will take place at the London Rowing Club, Putney, on Tuesday 7 February 2012, at 6.30pm. The meeting will give local people an opportunity to put questions direct to senior staff from the Port of London Authority (PLA).

HMS Liverpool is visiting London on her farewell tour - she will be open to visitors on Sunday 29 January 2012, an opportunity which will never be repeated.
