Public Meeting About the River Thames

A public meeting about the River Thames will take place at HQS Wellington, Temple Stairs, Victoria Embankment, London WC2 2PN on Tuesday 19 November 2013 from 6.30pm.

Entitled ‘Your tidal Thames - today and tomorrow', the meeting will be chaired by Port of London Authority (PLA) chief executive, Richard Everitt with chief harbour master, David Phillips. They will begin with a brief presentation on river safety and developments before opening the floor to questions.

The meeting is free and open to anyone interested in current and future issues relating to the tidal river, including the work and activities of the PLA. This will include safety matters through to leisure and recreational issues and wider port and river operations.
