Organisation Structure - Chairman of the Board - Dame Helen Alexander

Helen Alexander was appointed as a non-executive member of the PLA Board in June 2009, and chairman in January 2010.

Helen is also chair of Incisive Media and a non-executive director of Rolls-Royce plc and Centrica plc.   Formerly president of the CBI, chief executive of the Economist Group, she has been a non-executive director of BT and Northern Foods.

Helen is involved in charities in education, the arts and the internet, and was made a DBE for services to business in the Queen’s Birthday Honours in 2011.
