2009 saw the 163rd running of the Gravesend Town Regatta. The mile long course passes the promenade in historic Gravesend's Riverside Leisure Area, so all spectators get a good view of the action. Local residents of all ages and levels of experience take part.
The 164th Regatta will be held on Saturday and Sunday 12th and 13th June 2010.
