Old Leigh RegattaThe Old Leigh Regatta is an annual charity event organised by the three Scout and Venture Groups that are based in Leigh Old Town. The weekend of fun and frivolity held in a traditional old fishing town atmosphere includes side shows, craft stalls, sailing races and novelty water events. The High Street is closed for the two days and there is plenty of entertainment. The 2009 Regatta will be held on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th September.
