The sixth round of the exciting Red Bull Air Race World Series will take place over London on Sunday 3rd August 2008. This competition is open only to the world's most talented pilots, who race against each other in a challenging race course in the sky. Flying low to the ground at speeds of up to 400 kph, they fly individually against the clock, executing tight turns through a slalom course.
Because the races are at a relatively low level over a very tight course spectators can experience all of the action close-up.
Qualifying will take place on Saturday 2nd August and only the fastest pilots will qualify for the racing on Sunday. Then, in a series of knock out heats, the slowest will be eliminated until the fastest two remain to battle head-to-head in the final.
