Following completion of the dredging programme in the Princes Channel, the PLA sought port users' views on a number of changes to the management and marking of the channel. These changes proposed new or enhanced risk control measures, which will mitigate any increased risk to navigation resulting from increased use of the deeper channels.

The PLA will now work with all interested parties to take these new measures forward.
