Twickenham RegattaTwickenham Regatta is raced over 1,250m between Ham Landing Stage and Buccleugh Gardens in Horse Reach. It provides an ideal opportunity for crews, both lightweight and heavyweight, to get some high intensity speed work, as well as excellent two-abreast racing preparation for the gladiatorial arena that is side-by-side racing at Henley. Spectators are more than welcome to come along for a picnic lunch and to watch the racing from the Regatta Enclosure on London's most beautiful stretch of the Thames. The 2010 event takes place on Saturday 29th May. For more information visit the Regatta website (opens in a new window). |
