Nautical Institute Seminar
The Seminar will be chaired by John Garner FNI, Fleet Director P&O Ferries and the Keynote Address will be delivered by Captain John Leach MNI, General Manager - Global Dangerous Cargo, Special Cargo Management Maersk Line. Attendance is free (the costs are met by sponsors) for booking applications received before 22nd October. Applications received after this date will attract a charge of £35. The South East England Branch of the Nautical Institute (in association with MCA, Norfolk Line, Stena Line and the Port of London Authority) has organised a one-day seminar - the Carriage of Cargoes by Sea - the Safe Stuffing, Stowage and Securing of Cargo Transport Units on Ships - to be held at the East Malling Conference Centre on Wednesday 12th November 2008.
