Hammersmith Amateur Regatta

Hammersmith Amateur Regatta was founded in 1924 by a committee drawn from the many Hammersmith clubs that existed in those days. It has been held every year since then with the exception of the war years 1940 -1945.

The Regatta is run by an independent committee under ARA rules and Water Safety Code. It is a free start, over a 1400 metre course between Fulham Football Ground and Hammersmith Bridge.

The 2009 event took place on Saturday 25th April. A full day of racing started with the Novice Coxed Fours class at 8.30 am with the last race of the day, the Women's Novice Eights Final, scheduled for 5.35 pm. Information about the 2010 event will appear here nearer the date.
