Public Meetings about the Thames
The next in our series of public meetings to discuss current and future matters related to the tidal Thames will be held at London Rowing Club, Putney on 26 February. This meeting is principally aimed at matters affecting the river between Putney and Teddington, other meetings will be scheduled for matters downstream of Putney.
Our public meetings take the theme ‘Your tidal Thames - today and tomorrow'. The 26 February meeting will be chaired by our chief executive, Richard Everitt, with chief harbour master, David Phillips.
The meeting is open to anyone interested in the work and activities of the PLA on, or by, the tidal Thames. Amongst the matters under discussion will be our role and responsibilities, together with current and future activities on the river. There will be a full opportunity to discuss river and PLA concerns, developments and of course to answer any questions you may have.
Detailed arrangements for the meeting are as follows:
- Date: Tuesday 26 February 2013
- Venue: London Rowing Club, Embankment, Putney, London, SW15 1LB
- Start time: 6.30 pm; refreshments will be available from 6.00 pm
- Nearest public transport: Putney Bridge tube station and Putney mainline railway station.
