Public Meetings about the Thames

The PLA will again be holding a series of public meetings to discuss current and future matters related to the tidal Thames during 2012.

The first meeting will be held at London Rowing Club, Putney on 7 February.  This meeting is principally aimed at matters affecting the river between Putney and Teddington, other meetings will be scheduled for matters downstream of Putney and details will appear hare when available.

Our public meetings take a theme of ‘Your tidal Thames - today and tomorrow'. The 7 February meeting will be chaired by Port of London Authority (PLA) chief executive, Richard Everitt, with chief harbour master, David Phillips.

The meeting is open to anyone interested in the work and activities of the PLA on, or by, the tidal Thames. There will be a full opportunity to raise any matters of concern and for general discussion on wider river and port issues.
