In the UK, NuStar operates six wholly-owned bulk liquid storage terminals.
The company has excellent geographic coverage of the UK with terminals in Belfast, Eastham (Merseyside), Runcorn, Leith, Glasgow and Grays.
NuStar's terminal at Grays on the north bank of the Thames has a storage capacity of 311,000 cubic metres.
There are 53 tanks ranging from 1,700 to 20,800 cubic metres.
The terminal has a vapour processing unit to comply with European Union Emission Control Regulations.
The terminal currently stores Hydrocarbons only.
The facility has two jetties (Nos. 1 and 2) with a depth of 10.6 metres at low water, maximum length of 228 metres, unrestricted beam and four docklines.
Products are distributed to customers via rapid and efficient loading of vehicles through fully automated top and bottom loading facilities and computerised pre-loading authorisation.
The terminal's Thames-side location is excellent for receiving product from UK refineries and European markets. At the same time it is able to supply products to London and the South East using the easy accessible surrounding motorway network.

The Port of Tilbury's cargo handling activities are divided into five operational areas - SSCT / Containers, Conventional, Grain/Bulks, Finnish Terminal and Enterprise Distribution Centre- all equipped with modern facilities to handle the full range of cargo types.

Entrance By Water:
Entrance lock 304.8 metres long and 33.5 metres wide with a depth of water on outer sill of 7.3 metres below Chart Datum.
The largest vessels usually acceptable are 262.1 metres in length, beam up to 32.3 metres and draught of 11.4 metres. Open 24 hours a day, every day, unless advertised otherwise (Notice to Mariners).

Storage Capacity
TDG European Chemicals boasts 253 tanks, ranging in size from 30 cubic metres to 11,000 cubic metres, and includes mild steel, stainless steel and epoxy lined tanks; as well as agitated and insulated / temperature-controlled tanks.
Total storage capacity is 138,000 cubic metres and the tanks are designed to hold a wide range of liquids including petroleum products, solvents (including flammables), base oils (including lubricating and pharmaceutical grades), chemicals, agricultural products and food products (including hard and soft vegetable / edible oils).
TDG's deep-water jetty has a total of 34 dedicated jetty lines, in addition to fully dedicated road tanker loading / discharge points, which include automated bottom-loading facilities.
The terminal has extensive facilities for blending, dilution, filtration and heating of products, in addition to comprehensive facilities for the packing of drums, IBCs and small packs.
TDG Dagenham has its own team of experienced chemists working within its modern 'on-site' laboratory, which provide testing, certification, monitoring, sampling and blending of products.
The terminal has the flexibility to work 24/7 when required and is ISO 9001:2000 accredited and designated as a COMAH top tier site.
UK wide bulk and packed road distribution is offered from the terminal, which has benefited from new road links to the A13, M25 and M11.
