Barnes Bridge Ladies Rowing Club (BBLRC) welcomes rowers (and coxes!) of all ages and abilities. We have a full range of boats available to members.We run regular land based training sessions, such as circuits and weight training. Based at Barn Elms behind the Barn Elms Boathouse, the club is an open canoe-kayak club using and promoting the Thames for training and coaching. Our most active disciplines are white water canoeing, canoe polo and paddling on the Thames. Beginners are welcome - we always start people in a swimming pool or other flat water before going out on the Tideway. Unfortunately we do not currently have facilities for juniors/youth.

Furnivall Sculling club began life in 1896, probably the world's first women's rowing or sculling club. The club has been mixed since 1910 and today is known for its friendly club atmosphere combined with competitive crews and top quality equipment. One of the few Tideway clubs where you can particpate in the sport at any level, from the "learn to row in 10 lessons" to the sucessful men's and women's rowing squads who regularly win medals at the UK National Championships.

The club has a membership open to men and women of all ages and standards, and are now admitting a limited number of junior rowers.There is a good fleet of boats including single sculls, double sculls, pairs, fours, quads and eights. Sons aims to extend a welcome to anyone who wants to join our club. We were one of the first clubs to really welcome women, and also pride ourselves on the variety of nationalities and occupations we can boat within club crews.
