Based at Barn Elms behind the Barn Elms Boathouse, the club is an open canoe-kayak club using and promoting the Thames for training and coaching. Our most active disciplines are white water canoeing, canoe polo and paddling on the Thames. Beginners are welcome - we always start people in a swimming pool or other flat water before going out on the Tideway. Unfortunately we do not currently have facilities for juniors/youth.

Based at Cremorne Riverside Activity Centre in Chelsea, the Club is for adults only (over 18s) and is the only one in London which is devoted to sea kayaking and touring. It uses and promotes the Thames for paddle fitness, training and skills development. Beginners are welcome – however individuals have to be of a certain standard before going out on the Tideway. The Club also organises a programme of trips and events locally and overseas throughout the year, including socials and training opportunities.

Furnivall Sculling club began life in 1896, probably the world's first women's rowing or sculling club. The club has been mixed since 1910 and today is known for its friendly club atmosphere combined with competitive crews and top quality equipment. One of the few Tideway clubs where you can particpate in the sport at any level, from the "learn to row in 10 lessons" to the sucessful men's and women's rowing squads who regularly win medals at the UK National Championships.

Sons aims to extend a welcome to anyone who wants to join our club. We were one of the first clubs to really welcome women, and also pride ourselves on the variety of nationalities and occupations we can boat within club crews.
