A new facility situated in the London Docklands downstream of the Woolwich Ferry on the North side in Gallions Reach. Deep water pontoon moorings available, 24 hour security. Pump out ashore toilets and showers. Docklands Light Railway provides transport into town up to 00.30 hours. Locking available 5 hours either side of high water. Provisions locally or in Woolwich across the river. Woolwich Ferry and foot tunnel 15 minutes walk away.

Anchoring is not permitted in fairway near present moorings. Bottom is mud and shelves. Local Pub close to slipway over Sea Wall.

Visitor moorings available in secure marina (pre-booking advised to avoid disappointment). Ideal location for all river and sea-going pleasure craft. All berths have mains power and water; other facilities include pump-out, elsan disposal, toilets, showers, laundry, rubbish disposal and recycling facilities.
The Cruising Association Headquarters (with bar and catering facilities) are located by the marina and welcome visiting yachts.
Limehouse Lock is available from 0800 to 1800 April to September and 0800 to 1600 October to March, with restricted access 2 hours either side of low water. 24 hours' notice is required to lock in outside of these times - VHF Channel 80, call-sign "Limehouse marina".

A useful sheltered haven for transiting yachtsmen into and out of Central London (approx. 40 miles from London Bridge). Moorings allocated by Asst.Harbour Controller if available. No alongside berths, Lighter for rafting off-shore. Yacht Club is open 19.00 - 23.00 Friday; - 15.00, 19.00 - 23.00 Saturday and 12.00 - 15.00 on Sundays when a listening watch is kept on VHF M band and drinking water, showers, bar meals and telephone are available. All-tide landing stage (15 mins max), trot boat by arrangement. Diesel, petrol. Chandlery and provisions all available locally.

The marina is manned 24 hours maintaining a VHF watch on Channel 37.

Enclosed dock marina with 200 secure berths, situated on the South bank 2 ½ miles downstream of Tower Bridge. Holding pontoon is available adjacent to Greenland Pier which is just outside the marina entrance. Tidal window approximately +2 ½ -2 hrs either side of high water London Bridge. Showers, telephone, drinking water, CCTV. Provisions, laundry and repairs available locally, enquire at the Lock office. Crane up to 20 tonnes by arrangement Monday - Friday.

The most central marina to the West End and the City has a Yacht Club with showers, toilets, launderette, telephones. Temporary membership is awarded to visitors for up to a month. Local shops include a Safeways supermarket. Tube and buses run from Tower Hill into London. Taxi rank at the Tower Thistle Hotel. Water, electricity both 16 amp and 32 amp is available on the pontoons. Customs and Immigration can be arranged through the Haven Office. Temporary waiting moorings on the inside of St Katharine's Pier for shallow draught vessels and on the moorings laid between the lock and HMS President Pier.

Diesel available from the "Thames Refueller" 400 yards below lock between 09.00 and 16.00 hrs week days. 09.00 and 13.00 hrs Sundays. VHF Channel 14 call "THAMES REFUELLER"

Situated adjacent to Eel Pie Island, Twickenham Yacht Club is a dinghy sailing club on the tidal stretch of the Thames where the tidal level is maintained, which allows access for boats at any state of the tide. Club facilities include catering, changing rooms with showers and a bar. The Club is open Wednesday and Friday evenings and Sunday lunch time when potential members, members of other clubs and visiting cruisers up to 35 feet are most welcome. There is dinghy racing on Horse Reach Sunday mornings March to December and Wednesday evenings May to August. The main classes sailed are Enterprise, National 12, Solo and Toppers for juniors. A number of Club boats are available for use. Cruiser events and dinghy open meetings are organized throughout the season. Fore and aft cruiser moorings, up to 35 feet, may be available for members, depending on current uptake. The Club also has an active social calendar for members and their guests.
