The jack up rig “Excalibur” call sign YJXQ5 will be undertaking borehole & cone penetration test work within London Array site in the Knock Deep & Long Sand areas. The work is expected to commence during the first week of October and continue until the end of the year.
The Excalibur will display in accordance with international collision regulation rule 27 (b) restricted in ability to manoeuvre signal lights & shapes. The Excalibur will maintain a listening watch on port channel VHF 69.
All vessels are to proceed with caution at reduced speed giving the rig a wide berth.
Work will be undertaken in three batches.
