Notice to Mariners

Commencing on or soon after 27th April 2009 for a period of approximately two weeks, works will take place to install monitoring equipment on the river bed in an area between C and D jetties at Shellhaven, centred on an area in approximate position 50° 30.34N  000° 29.26E (WGS84). 

The work will be carried out using the jack-up barge SKATE 2 and will involve diving operations. SKATE 2 will exhibit the lights and shapes prescribed by the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea 1972 (as amended)  Rule 27(d).

Mariners should exercise extreme caution when passing the area of the works.
