Public Meetings about the Thames

Our next public meeting will be at Thurrock Yacht Club on Tuesday, 8 May 2018.

Our public meetings are open to anyone interested in the tidal Thames and the work of the PLA.  The meeting will be chaired by our chief executive, Robin Mortimer, with chief harbour master, Bob Baker. Other members of the harbourmaster team, together with our experts in planning and environment, will be on hand.

The meeting will start with a short presentation on Thames and PLA developments, followed by an open Q&A/discussion session to address any questions you may want to ask.

Detailed arrangements for the meeting are as follows:

  • Date: Tuesday 8 May 2018
  • Venue: Thurrock Yacht Club, Kiverts Wharf, Argent Street, Gray, Essex, RM17 6JF
  • Start time: 6.30 pm; refreshments will be available from 6.00 pm
  • Nearest public transport: Grays Railway Station – ten-minute walk to the club
  • There is free council car parking just by the club in Argent Street
