There She Blows - Aspects of the London Whaling Trade

Docklands History Group Annual Symposium - Saturday 23rd March 2013

Revealing London's hidden whaling history, the Greenland Dock and the whaling trades and the place of blubber and oil are just some of the topics due to be examined during the Docklands History Group's Annual Symposium "There She Blows - Aspects of the London Whaling Trade" on 23rd March 2013.

The Symposium will be held at the Museum of London Docklands and will be followed, if numbers are sufficient, by an evening dinner in the Museum's restaurant 'Rum & Sugar' with "A Whaling Garland" - music and words performed and presented by Dr Stuart Frank, Charles Payton and Chris Ellmers.

The costs are as follows:

Symposium only - £30 for Docklands History Group (DHG) members, £35 for other delegates
Symposium and Evening Dinner (minimum 50 persons) - £80 for DHG Members, £85 for other delegates
Evening Dinner only - £50
