Watching the fleet on the river
The best opportunity to see the vessels underway on the river will be during the Parade of Sail on Tuesday, 9 September.
That day the vessels will muster in Limehouse Reach before proceeding downriver, passing the Royal Naval College at Greenwich around 1.30 pm.
The majority of the Tall Ships will arrive on 4 and 5 September. They will arrive in ones and twos over several tides, rather than as a ‘fleet’.
We have provided here the best information available to us currently about vessel arrival. We suggest that those interested in seeing vessels inbound for the Regatta check www.marinetraffic.com for the latest position of specific vessels on the river.
For more information on the ships and the Tall Ships Regatta, go to: www.royalgreenwich.gov.uk/tallships / www.sailroyalgreenwich.co.uk or telephone Sail Greenwich on 0203-040 2350.
